The Exhibition is open to artists 18 years and older.
Original 2-dimensional works including drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, ceramics, wood, paper, textile, fiberglass, metalsmithing, collage, encaustic and mixed media.
Crafts, video, kit-work and reproductions are not accepted.
Artwork maximum width can be up to 24”. If framed, dimensions include the frame.
By entering the jurying process, the artist agrees to have their work available July 7-15, 2018 for the duration of the show. The artist grants the organizers permission to photograph works for publicity, educational and reference purposes.
Entries will be judged on technical merit, aesthetic quality and creativity. All decisions of the jury are final. The juror reserves the right to disqualify any artwork misrepresented by digital files or work that is not supported by adequate installation mounting and hardware. Fees will not be refunded including those whose art is found unsuitable to be used due to the above reasons, or any other reason.
All art not sold will be returned at the artist’s expense. Artists can pick up their artwork at The Red Hen House Retreat Center on July 16, 2018, between 12-4pm unless other arrangements have been made. Artists who wish their artwork be shipped to them must make prior arrangements and are responsible for shipping costs. Payment must be received prior to shipment.

Provide images of artwork via email. Images must be PC compatible, JPEG format. Guidelines for image: 300 dpi, maximum 7”x9”. Each file must be identified by the artist’s name and work’s title.
All selected works must be ready for presentation. Two-dimensional work must be ready to hang with appropriate hardware and wire installed.
The Red Hen House will not assume liability for loss or damage of artwork during transit or while on premises. Artists may secure their own insurance if they choose.
Artists are responsible for transit (shipment or delivery) of accepted artwork to The Red Hen House. If it is shipped, it must be in reusable cartons, no loose packing or peanuts.
The Red Hen House retains a 10% commission on all sales. Works are not required to be for sale.
